Michael J. Hislope Memorial Scholarship
Mike was a student at Leake BJJ and his loss was felt deeply within the academy as well as our community. To honor his legacy and sacrifice we have created a scholarship for law enforcement professionals, open to both new and existing students. The scholarship winner will receive free tuition for one year beginning August 1, 2026.
Applications must be received before July 1, 2026.

Starting January 6, 2026 we will have a homeschooler program that meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We have a cardio/weight room available for members who are at least 18 years old.

EVENTS

Upcoming tournaments in the area:  

Students are not required to participate in tournament events.  However, as students build knowledge and experience, participating in a tournament is a great way to test your skills and learn where you may need to focus on improvements. Plus, it is fun to participate in a tournament as a team and represent the Leake BJJ family!
