Mike is purple belt who started his grappling journey with wrestling in junior high. He wrestled throughout high school and continued on to be the Head Coach of the Joplin Youth Wrestling Program for three years as well as becoming the assistant middle school and high school coach. Mike found a love for jiu jitsu and has been training for several years. Mike and his two children joined Leake BJJ after moving to Nixa in the beginning of 2022.
